ABOUT Savannah!
My name is Savannah, and I am the Owner and Lead Trainer of Great Starts Dog Training! I have been working with dogs my entire life, finding whatever way I could to be around and interact with them. I love being able to teach people how to better understand and communicate with their dog.
By the time a program is completed, I love seeing the confidence and happiness from dog parent's compared to how they felt in the beginning! I know this process can feel overwhelming, and you don't want to be left in the dust! Rest assured that my goal is for you to be successful during and after our time together. That means I will always explain how to do something, and why we do it. After-all, to have lasting success, it is crucial that YOU feel capable and confident to continue on with training!
I have worked with hundreds of dog owners over the past 8 years, and have continued my education in the science of dogs and dog training. Achieving many certifications and advancing my abilities throughout all aspects of training and welfare for dogs. There is no breed, temperament, or history of a dog that I won't put my all in to help. I truly believe that dogs are a part of the family, I know my dogs are and I couldn't imagine my life without them! Creating a harmonious life with our furry family members is more than possible, and I am so grateful for the opportunities I have to help so many amazing people and their dogs!
